Events happen at the Refuge all year long but we are slowly reopening following the pandemic. Some of these are currently happening.  Some examples of events you might enjoy - or even help organize in the near future - are:

• Our biggest event of the year - our Annual Bird Festival
• A Native Plant sale fundraiser
• Walking tours on the public unit with our own Naturalists
• Annual membership meeting with continental breakfast and speaker or field trip
• Speakers on natural resources topics
• Planting parties
• Restoration projects
• Parades
• Festive Holiday get-together
• Behind-the-scenes tours (did you know only ONE of the Refuge units is open to the public - come see others)
