We are looking for new board members!

The Friends of the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge Board of Directors is currently accepting applications to fill several Board seats with 3- year terms commencing November 1st, 2024. Interested persons should read “Duties of board members” and then complete and submit the Board of Directors Application Form (and optional cover letter and/or resume) no later than July 18, 2025. Interviews of qualified candidates will occur in the August-September timeframe, and the Board will make its recommendation to the members of the organization and notify selected candidates in early October.

In filling our open Board seats, the Board invites all interested candidates to apply, but is actively looking for and hoping to recruit:

Persons with any of the following competencies/skills/interests/connections:

• Passion for conservation
• Fundraising
• Finance
• Legal
• Connections with Private Foundations
• Networking, Awareness-Raising, and Profile-Raising
