Joyfully Connecting Our Community with the Wonder of the Refuge

Second Saturday Work Party

  • April 12, 2014
  • 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • 19255 SW Pacific Hwy, Sherwood, OR 97140

This month’s project will focus on the removal of tree tubes from our Oleson location.  We need to remove the Garry oaks planted under the power lines to be in compliance with Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) right-of-way requirements.  First, we need to remove the tree tubes to take the plastic out of the environment.

The Oleson property is off of Scholls Ferry Road.  A caravan will meet in front of the refuge visitor center at 8:45am. A map will be made available to those who can’t arrive in time to join the caravan.
