Joyfully Connecting Our Community with the Wonder of the Refuge
Join the Friends of Tualatin River NWR for our November 2nd Saturday Work Party! We will be improving habitat for birds and pollinators by planting native plants and seeds at the Tualatin River NWR main unit. The meeting location for this event is the shelter by the bathrooms.
This event will take out of doors, in an uncovered area exposed to the elements. Work will require bending, stooping, and traveling across uneven surfaces. Long pants and sleeves are recommended. This event will be canceled in the event of hazardous weather or travel conditions. All training, tools, first aid supplies, and light refreshments will be provided.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome, but volunteers under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers under 18 must have a Volunteer Service Agreement signed by a parent or guardian to participate in the event.
If the Federal government is still closed due to lapse in appropriations, this event will be cancelled. Registrants, please monitor your emails prior to the event for a cancellation notice.
