Festival Summer Parade
A Strong Sherwood Tradition

Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 10 AM

People from far and wide come to see the Festival Summer Parade every third weekend in July, a popular community tradition for over 70 years. 

The Parade weaves through Sherwood starting at Langer's Entertainment Parking Lot before heading along SW Century Boulevard before turning onto Sherwood Boulevard and into town along Pine and First Streets.  The 2024 parade is planned Saturday July 20, 2024, at 10 am.  
The Friends of the Refuge with USFWS staff will be walking in the Robinhood Parade once again this year and we would love our Friends to join us. Sign up here if you plan to walk- feel free to grab a friend the more the merrier!
  • Park at Target /Langer's or Wal Mart parking lots
  •  Ask any Robinhood festival volunteer where the Friends of the Refuge are staged- It will be in the Langer's Entertainment Parking Lot.
  • Be at the Friends' staging area no latter than 10 AM-  that is what time the parade starts. Most folks are getting there at 9:30
  • Wear Friends or Brews for the Birds T-shirts, caps or green volunteer vests. 
  • We will have Brews for the Birds Signs available for Friends to carry
  • Bring a bag (or two, or three) of candy to hand out.
  • The parade makes a large loop- so we will end up back at Langer's ( and near your vehicle).
  • Don't for get your water and sunscreen!!
