April 2nd Saturday Work Party at Wapato Lake NWR

  • April 13, 2024
  • 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM
  • Wapato Lake NWR

Registration is closed

Join us for a planting at Wapato Lake NWR! We will be installing native plants along a creek that borders Wapato Lake. As these plants grow, they will support wildlife and habitat health with their superpowers such as providing food and nesting resources, woody debris deposition, stormwater interception, stream shading, and many more!

Registration for this event is limited to 25 people due to parking limitations. Carpooling is highly encouraged. This planting will take place along a stream bank. Volunteers may encounter muddy or saturated ground, uneven ground, woody debris, and move through vegetation. All gloves, tools, snacks, water, and training will be provided during this event.

Advance registration is required.
