Friends Annual Meeting: Walking Tour of Natural Heritage Pine Area

Open to Friends members only. Limited to 20 participants!

Join the TRNWR Refuge Manager, Erin Holmes, for a 1/2 mile  walking tour of the Natural Heritage Pine Area. Meet at the Wildlife Center at 7:30 sharp to carpool to the site. Come ready for weather and possibly muddy conditions.

Learn more about the partnership between Metro, which owns the parcel, and FWS, which jointly manages it. See one of the oldest pine trees in the Willamette Valley and hear about plans for including a part of the Metro trail system along this unit.

Please note, if your membership represents multiple people on one account, such as a husband and wife, you must register multiple times for each person who wants to attend. Multiple registrations are allowed for each account.
