Walk the trails

  • Download the trail map
  • The year-round trail is approximately nine tenths of a mile. It is an out-and-back trail. The surface is suitable for strollers and some mobility devices. A wheelchair is available to borrow in the Wildlife Center.
  • The seasonal trails are open from May 1 to October 1 with about 3 miles of trails. These trails are refuge service roads so the walking surface varies. From time to time these trails may be closed temporarily because of work being done to maintain and restore the refuge.
  • Forgot your binoculars? Borrow them from us at the Visitor Center free of charge.
  • Looking for fun activities for the whole family while you are on the trail? Check out a Discovery Pack from the Visitor Center. Discovery Packs are available in both English and Spanish. Temporarily suspended.

RESERVE THE PHOTO BLIND

There is a photo blind on the refuge that must be reserved for use. It can be reserved for half a day or a full day. Please contact Fish and Wildlife Staff at 503 625-5944 for further information and to reserve the Blind.
