What do owls eat? Find out by dissecting an owl pellet.

How do bats find their food? Learn from our fun and friendly naturalists.

What does the Refuge look and sound like in the dark? Use your senses on a guided trail walk.

And perhaps the most important question of all: Do you like cookies? Learn how to decorate animal cookies in the style of Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) with our friends from Panaderia 5 de Mayo.

SCHEDULED ACTIVITIES:

Día de Muertos cookie decorating demonstration at 5:00, 5:30, & 6:00

Story Time with Ruthann at 5:15, 6:00, & 6:45

Night walks at 5:30, 6:00, 6:30, & 7:00

NOTE: Sign up for a walk time at the Visitor Center when you arrive. Walks are first come, first served and fill up fast (We can safely take a limited number of people out on the trail for each walk. Thanks for understanding.) Wildlife-friendly flashlights are provided.

DROP-IN ANYTIME ACTIVITIES (5pm-8pm):

Arts & crafts

Decorate your own animal cookie

Bat scavenger hunt
