Joyfully Connecting Our Community with the Wonder of the Refuge

Photo Society Monthly Meeting

  • January 04, 2018
  • 7:00 PM
  • Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge, 19255 SW Pacific Hwy, Sherwood OR 97140

Scott Burns, Professor Emeritus of Geology and past chair of the Department of Geology at Portland State University, will be guest speaker. Join us for his lively presentation “Cataclysms on the Columbia: The Great Missouri Floods.” He will show slides of Oregon geology and discuss how the floods formed the Columbia Gorge and the Willamette Valley. This group is open to anyone with a camera and an interest in nature photography.

Tualatin River Photographic Society (TRPS) provides nature photographers of all skill levels a variety of opportunities to improve their skills and share knowledge with others. TRPS meets on the first Thursday of each month from September-June and offers guest speakers, photo contests, field trips, and educational programs. We welcome visitors and new members.

We are a program of the Friends of the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge.
