Behind the Scenes of Refuge Management and Naturalist Wagon Rides (free)

  • May 20, 2017
  • 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • 19255 SW Pacific Hwy, Sherwood OR 97140

Have you wondered what tools and techniques refuge staff use to restore and conserve habitats? Go "behind the scenes" with Refuge Fish & Wildlife staff and Friends Naturalist to learn the art of landscape conservation on a national wildlife refuge. Thanks to our partner, Baggenstos Farms, for the use of the Conestoga wagons.

Wagons will depart from the Refuge parking lot near the environmental education shelter every 30 minutes. The wagons will make 3 stops along the way. Feel free to stay on for the entire loop or you can depart at any of the stops and walk back, or see if there is room on another wagon. Estimate trip time is one hour.

The last wagon will leave at 3:00PM

No registration is required but there is limited seating on each wagon.
