Joyfully Connecting Our Community with the Wonder of the Refuge

Behind the Scenes of Refuge Management and Naturalist Wagon Rides (free)

  • May 18, 2019
  • 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • 19255 SW Pacific Hwy, Sherwood OR 97140

Have you wondered what tools and techniques refuge staff use to restore and conserve habitats? Go "behind the scenes" with Refuge Fish & Wildlife staff and Friends Naturalist to learn the art of landscape conservation on a national wildlife refuge. Thanks to our partner, Phil's Farm Store, for the use of the Conestoga wagons.

Wagons will depart from the Refuge parking lot near the environmental education shelter every 30 minutes.  Estimate trip time is 30 minutes.

The last wagon will leave at 3:00PM

No registration is required but there is limited seating on each wagon.
