Tualatin River Photo Society (TRPS) hosts a Bird Photography Workshop with award-winning bird photographer Paul Bannick on the morning of April 11. Photographers of all levels are welcome to participate.

Paul Bannick's website is at http://www.paulbannick.com/

Paul will start this workshop on Friday night at the general meeting -- if you arrive early you will have a reserved front row seat for this presentation on photographing birds.

Location for Saturday meet-up to be sent to registered participants. You are responsible for your own safe transportation to and from the field site, as well as your own safety at the field site(s). Saturday workshop will be 7:00am to 12:00(noon) so be sure to eat breakfast before you arrive.

As with any photography event, you are expected to bring your own equipment. We suggest that you bring a lens of 300mm or longer with your camera body for best results (but you can still learn a lot with lesser lens lengths, but your images will be smaller in the frame.).  There are no guarantees on which birds or how many birds will present themselves to be photographed -- we get what we get, but Paul will be assisting you to learn in the field. As always, Paul and members of the TRNWR Photo Society make no guarantees as to how close the birds may come to you!

Registration opens  February 15 for Friends members. Non-members may register starting March 1. Registration will close on April 7. When the registration fills, you may put yourself on a notification list for signing up for any cancellation openings (List will be sent to all, and the first one to sign up online will get the slot).

Cancellations will only be accepted through March 15, and you will receive a full refund through this date. No refunds will be provided after this date. The workshop will be held rain or shine - so be certain to bring wet weather gear for you and your camera/lense if typical Oregon Spring weather occurs on April 11.
